WHY IS BENT ZINE OVER?
BENT ZINE WAS A CREATIVE OUTLET OF SOME OLDER IDEAS THAT HAVE EVOLVED INTO SOMETHING NEW. I’VE BEEN SITTING ON RUMP FOR OVER A YEAR NOW SO THIS ZINE WILL BE MORE FOOD AND ART ORIENTED.
WHAT IS RUMP ZINE?
It’s a supper club at the intersection of food and art. It’s where I get to play in the kitchen and turn the kitchen into a playground.
RUMP is a collective, a dinner party, a magazine, a studio, a pop-up, a jam session, an artist talk, a Happening, a poem, a hike, a photo book, a t-shirt, an apron, a mixtape, a band, and blah, blah,blah. Most of the events will happen in Cleveland, OH. However, I’m working on some other events outside of Ohio.

WHY SHOULD I KEEP MY SUBSCRIPTION?
Because I’ll still be doing the Bent Interviews with fascinating folks. I’ll still be sharing strange ephemera and photos. It’ll make sense eventually, just stick with me.
RYANAUSTIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
I’m an independent “project manager” living in Cleveland, OH and I still do independent curatorial work in the Bay Area. What that means is that RUMP will be a nomadic project with Happenings on both coasts.
Currently, I’m helping with operations at a Gifted Grass Farms, R&D Sausage Co, and Farmers Feast. Our focus is on regenerative agriculture.
